we understand the importance of communication, which is why every
single phone system installation is project managed from the very first meeting, right through to handover to our
Support Helpdesk. We make sure that you are kept up to date on the progress of your order every step of the way,
with dedicated account managers and engineering staff you can be sure that any queries you may have will be dealt
with in a friendly and efficient manner.
All our installations follow a tried and tested 7 step procedures designed to get you
up and running with minimum disruption, and are carried out by manufacturer accredited engineers. All our engineers
each have a personal development programme that includes ongoing training and certification processed to ensure
they keep their skills at the very highest level.
Step 1: Site
Survey
A World

engineer will attend site to gather details to plan the project
(preferred equipment installation, any additional services that may need installing to meet your requirements,
etc), these details are passed onto our project management team and your account manager. If there is anything that
could cause a problem or delay to the project you will be informed at the earliest opportunity.
Step 2: Installation
Plan
The installation is planned to include all third parties, such as cabling companies,
and members of staff who are required to ensure that it goes as smoothly as possible with minimum disruption to the
day to day operations of your business. The installation is timetabled to suit all parties involved with each
section broken down and made available to the relevant people.
Step 3: Offsite Build &
Testing
The system is configured to your requirements in our test environment and tested
thoroughly to ensure a problem free installation with minimal downtime for your business. A final configuration
scheme is submitted to you to ensure that nothing has been overlooked and the configuration is as originally
requested.
Step 4:
Installation
On the specified installation day(s) our engineers will attend site at a pre-agreed
time to install your new phone system. All our engineers are reliable, professional and friendly and will be more
than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your phone system and it's operation. The installation is
usually split into sections that can be signed off upon completion (if required)
Step 5: Post Installation
De-brief
Once the installation is completed your project manager will be in touch to ensure
that the installation followed the project plan and to ensure that any post installation issues that may occur are
dealt with in a timely manner.
Step 6: User
Training
Every installation has 2 hours of user training included free of charge, as your
staff may not be familiar with some of the features that your new system may have that are available to them. The
training covers all levels of operation, from call transferring to accessing shared voicemail and other advanced
features. CTI and other integrated applications will require extra training.
Step 7: Technical
Handover
Once the installation is completed it is handed over to the Support Helpdesk who are
accessible around the clock (subject to cover) via a dedicated 0844 number. The Support Helpdesk is there to answer
any queries you may have and to make system changes that may be required (staff changes, hunt group
re-configuration, etc), 90% of configuration tasks can be carried out remotely by our Support Helpdesk. If the
operator is not able to resolve a fault remotely, then your engineer (the one who installed your system) will be
dispatched to your premises to carry out any onsite work that may be required.
